Storytime on the Porch is a speaker series aimed at engaging adults and seniors with local heritage. Attendees have the opportunity to share and swap stories with long-term residents of the City of Abbotsford and the Fraser Valley in a low-key and comfortable setting.
Local centenarian and longtime Heritage Abbotsford Society supporter, Ernie Poignant, is launching his latest 126-page cartoon book Welcome to the Past! In celebration of the launch, join us from 1:30 PM to 3 PM on Friday, July 19th! Hosted at Trethewey House Heritage Site, you can: meet Ernie himself, enjoy refreshments, and socialize! All proceeds of this softcover book will go to the Society. No registration is necessary.
